I did it. There shouldn't be that warning anyway.

AC_FLAGS matches the pattern of macros that cannot go to "configure"
unexpanded. This is wrong. The fix is ready. I'm sending it to
autoconf-patches.

I agree, "configure" should be erased unless some flags are given. But
it's a minor issue.

It's a separate issue.
