Grin. And to make it worse, I just found out that I "retired" early!
anyone care to try this?
address@hidden /usr/src/threadtestb
$ aclocal && autoconf
configure:1206: error: undefined macro: AC_FATAL
configure:1206: error: undefined macro: _AC_LANG
address@hidden /usr/src/threadtestb
$ cat ./acinclude.m4
AC_DEFUN([AC_PROG_CXX_WIN32], [
AC_REQUIRE([AC_PROG_CXX])dnl
])
AC_DEFUN([AC_API_WIN32], [
dnl high level interface for finding out compiler support for win32.
AC_LANG_CASE(
dnl [C], [CFLAGS="$WIN32FLAGS $CFLAGS"
dnl CPPFLAGS="$WIN32FLAGS $CPPFLAGS"],
[C++], AC_PROG_CXX_WIN32 [CXXFLAGS="$WIN32FLAGS $CXXFLAGS"
CPPFLAGS="$WIN32FLAGS $CPPFLAGS"],
[AC_FATAL([No macro support for WIN32 with ] _AC_LANG) ])
])
address@hidden /usr/src/threadtestb
$ cat configure.in
AC_INIT
AC_API_WIN32
address@hidden /usr/src/threadtestb
$ aclocal && autoconf
configure:1206: error: undefined macro: AC_FATAL
configure:1206: error: undefined macro: _AC_LANG
