Hello avrdudes,
I wonder if there is/will be support for the SI-Prog interface in
avrdude? SI-Prog is a very simple circuit to programm AVRs (besides
many other µCs and memories) over RS-232 using PonyProg.
It uses basically the following signals (+
resistors, z-diods and a transistor)to interface AVRs:
CTS -> MISO
DTR -> MOSI
DSR & RTS -> SCK
TXD -> RST
See http://www.lancos.com/siprogsch.html for details.
It works like charm with PonyProg under W2k for my 90S8515, except
that PonyProg has no command line interface ... :(
