The hyperdoc documentation gives this example,
\begin{verbatim}
match("*to*","yorktown","*")
\end{verbatim}
and says that it would return 5. But the interpreter will not coerce "*" to a
character, and even if manually converted, a system error occurs. However,
match? works.
\begin{axiom}
match("*to*","yorktown","*")
match("*to*","yorktown",char("*"))
match?("*to*","yorktown",char("*"))
\end{axiom}
