I tried to display full paths in the RecentFiles section; the fact that
the GtkItemFactory uses the slash is a problem here - how can one escape
it? I tried '//' and '\/', to no avail (well, apart from segfaults).
If this isn't possible we can't use the ItemFactory for this purpose, can we?
