However, from a communications perspective, there might indeed be something worthwhile here, so I clicked and visited. I think this series of one-day events has been great in introducing PR people around the UK to the wild and wacky world of social media. I have to admit to feeling a little reluctant to do so for another reason, which is that I sometimes comment on things that are rather off topic for this blog. And YouTube has much more than zany homemade videos.
I do comment under my name in other places, but that is different, given the effort it takes to find it, than having them appear in near real time here.

My first thought was, its a video web portal, how different can it be? Last week, I mentioned that I was starting authentication, using TypeKey, but I decided that requires too many steps from readers.
I emphasized those things again in my presentation, which focused on network building as the primary occupation for people in communications disciplines. You might remember I gave a similarly titled presentation last fall, which was quite popular.
