Details:

This function is called in libgtkhtml3...-, and the declaration will be in
the libgtkhtml3...-dev version. There may be a 3.14 and a 3.8 version. If the
one does not work then the other may. Could not find
> info on that error on google, probably a very recent one. Hope you can

Removing 3.8 (which in Ubuntu at least does not contain the necessary
headers) resolved my problem.
