I think that attaching Guile to Bison sounds as a right long term
development, not only for the use of writing skeleton files and output, but
it might also be used to simplify the introduction of new parsing
algorithms: One can then fast-develop using Scheme, even with access to
GOOPS, and if profiling shows that some parts are slow, one can focus on
writing those parts in C. The only problem is that it adds a great deal of
complexity to the Bison package. But all personal computers and up sold now
can easily handle it.
