Thanks for the Hans Aberg notice about the `default:' statement.
Looks like its safe for c but possibly not for all c++ compilers.
The flex generated code has also warning at `gcc -Wswitch-default'.
Looks like safest solution for now is to revert back, with the gcc
warning and make notice somewhere about it. Using c btw. Thanks.
