Possible AIX bug part 2

Hello again,

Just in case you may suggest I try the IBM AIX compiler
instead of gcc....
I get the following problem with the AIX xlC compiler:

> bash-2.04# ddd --configuration
> GNU DDD 3.2.1 (powerpc-ibm-aix4.3.3.0)
> Copyright (C) 1995-1999 Technische Universitaet Braunschweig, Germany.
> Copyright (C) 1999-2000 Universitaet Passau, Germany.
> Compiled with xlC
> Requires X11R6, Xt11R6, Motif 2.1 (Motif Version 2.1.0)
> Includes DDD core, Manual, App defaults, Athena Panner
> Built 2000-10-16 by root <root@aix150.spatial.com>.

It compiles without errors, but then when I try to run
it against our code with dbx I get the following:

> bash-2.04# more /.ddd/log
> GNU DDD 3.2.1 (powerpc-ibm-aix4.3.3.0)
> Copyright (C) 1995-1999 Technische Universitaet Braunschweig, Germany.

I'm not sure how to find out what does not have enough space!
The /nfs mount has plenty of space. However, the /tmp and /var
partitions are small (47 and 20MB respectively). Which
filesystem is it unhappy with and how can I tell how much space
it wants?
