DDD cores in X initialization on HP 10.20

Subject: DDD cores in X initialization on HP 10.20
Date: Tue, 6 Feb 2001 10:20:21 -0500

Hi DDD Team!

I'm experiencing some trouble getting DDD 3.3 to work on HP 10.20.
I tried version 3.2.1, with the same result; it core dumps within the
X initialisation, I never see any window popping up.
[Same result with the original gdb 5.0 and 4.18 BTW, but that
shouldn't matter.]

All the /usr/lib/libX*.2 are linked to /usr/lib/X11R6/libX* resp.
/usr/lib/Motif1.2_R6/libX*.

Attached the trace output (same as log output).

Any hints, what might be wrong?
Thanks for your support and a great piece of software!

        Jens
