I use Debian unstable, XFree 4.0.2, WindowMaker 0.64.0, gdm as login Manager.
This behaviour realy drives me insane! I've figured out the
following facts:
This is a Problem with my local X-Server. If I start ddd on a remote
machine, the same shit happens. Also wiping out my WMaker Config doesn't
help it, _BUT_ :
If I select GNOME or KDE session on Login, It works.
Also starting a new X-Server with x -ac :1.0 and starting a
windowmaker using this display works!
What happens:
I start DDD, the Main-Window pops up, the Splash-Screen pops up,
the Tip of the day pops up and BANG it's gone again.
I tried turning off Splash-Screen and Tip of the Day, same procedure.
Programm window pops up, and zap, off again.
and this is what the terminal-window says:
I'll allso attach the Logfile.

X error (invalid Colormap parameter).
Oops! You have found a bug in DDD.
I've never had problems with other Programs behaving this way...
(gimp, netscape, mozilla, and so on)
But Netscape might be the only other Motif-App I use.
