Hello ddd folks!

Further to my note of a few minutes ago:

You really do have a problem. I noticed that the ddd executable refers to 
libXm.so.2.

Mine was pointing to the lesstif.so, so I changed it to point to the OpenMotif 
libXm.so and bingo!
