Windows not displaying

Dear Sirs

When I start ddd all windows do not show complete informations.
For example if some source code has to be displayed I can only see
the first 4 or 6 lines of the code and these lines are trucated at the
bottom (I cant see the "leg" of the "g" for example. I have to open and
close the machine code window to make things happen right.
I seems to me that ddd is loosing its windows dimensions.

Other odd behavior is that some pieces of the Tips windows lines (and
other information windows too) are repeated twice like this:

<blockquote>
When using GDB, all text fields have command and argument completion
with
with Tab, just like the shell. In a file selection box type part of
a filename, hit
a filename, hit Tab, and voila! It's completed
</blockquote>

Notice the "with" and "a filename, hit" repeated above.
The line breaks were maintained just like the windows showed it.

I use Slackware 8.1

ddd --configuration says

GNU DDD 3.3.1 (i586-pc-linux-gnu)

XFree86 Version 4.2.1 / X Window System
(protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6600)
Release Date: 3 September 2002

I tried Window Maker and XFCE as the window managers with the same
result.

Is that anything you would like to know addicionaly?

Any suggestions?

Regards
