DDD 3.3.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu) gets `BadGC' error

Steps to reproduce the problem:

Run the neptune simulator on linux:

Linux machine details:
Red Hat Linux release 7.2 (Enigma)
Kernel 2.4.7-10 on an i686

The following will be displayed on the window:

http://www.urbana.css.mot.com/acl/simtech/sysreq.html.

DSP version mismatch: MCU expects 0x620B; whereas DSP has  0x62ba

Modifying the DSP rom version in the simulator to match the elf image ...
