Hi,

The best way to make progress would be build from source
on your system ddd 3.3.8, ddd 3.3.1 (the last release by A. Zeller)
and, possibly, ddd 3.1.5  and compare their features.
Then, if they are reproducable, either fix it yourself and post a patch
or fill a bug report on sf.net with all details to reproduce the
problem.
