C structures and arrays displayed horizontally

I'm using ddd 3.3.9 to debug a C program and when I display a structure or array it's always orientated horizontally. I have to Rotate twice to get it orientated vertically.

I've looked in the .ddd/init file and see

Ddd*arrayOrientation: XmVERTICAL
Ddd*structOrientation: XmVERTICAL

which suggests to me it should be the way I want.

I suspect, given that I have to Rotate twice to get the data displayed the way I want, that ddd thinks it's displaying it vertically to start with, even though it's not. So the first click tells it to display it horizontally and the second vertically.

This is under Red Hat 9.

Hope you can help. As I said in my previous posting, the archives seem just to be full of spam.

Thanks
