gnuplot crash under x11

Hi,
	under Mac OSX 10.4.5 x11, whenever I click the plot for any  
parameter or history, it pops up a window "Starting gunplot" if I  
click cancel, it crashes. The gnuplot version is 4.0 and function  
well. log file is attached.
