Thanks for the report. This should be fixed through
https://git.savannah.gnu.org/gitweb/?p=gettext.git;a=commitdiff;h=031c899cabcc30899b66c2747aa43620a7c0905f

If you want to test it, just download the 4 files from
https://git.savannah.gnu.org/gitweb/?p=gettext.git;a=tree;f=gettext-tools/projects/TP
and store them in $PREFIX/share/gettext/projects/TP/ .

It's an alias. The archives are at lists.gnu.org under 'bug-gettext'
but you can write to <address@hidden>.
