Waiting for a glibc-2.1.4...

glibc-2.1.3 has been known to be insecure for some time now (due to the
gettext and ld.so problems).  It also will not compile under the current
binutils release 2.10 due to the non-PIC setjmp problem.

Both of these problems are supposed to be long fixed in the
source-controlled internal versions of glibc.

So why hasn't a 2.1.4 or 2.1.3.1 release been created to propagate these
important fixes to ordinary users?
