Oh please permit my intrusion into your admin territory :-)

But I am afraid that the joke.exe (which appeared under
different *.exe names as well) is no joke at all.

Some big ISPs, and small ones for that matter,
are very receptive to these complaints about abuses.
So the readers of the ML might try sending such warnings if they feel
like. 

PS: I have NOT complained to ordinary spams to gnu mailing lists.
Whether we like it or not, we have to live with spam when the MLs are
open.
I have complained to contact addresses by looking up whois database  
ONLY to the last few e-mails with TROJAN attachment.
