Well, thanks for clearing this. I use the latest development
version of binutils and the cvs version of glibc, and
wondering whats wrong, but probably this is a binutils
related problem.

Hmm, may I ask which program should link also pthreads
automatically when the above libs are linked against? It is
the job of ld?
