Further support in ioctls/netinet6 for IPv6

I'm wondering when further support for IPv6 is coming out, such as tcp6.h, and
further support in ioctls.h (need SIOCGIFSTAT_IN6 which retrieves IPv6 stats for
an interface)

I noticed that FreeBSD is the only one so far to support this.
Basically, it would be for Linux SNMP agents to provide IPv6 stats.

Is there work in progress for this? I didn't find it in glibc 2.2.3.
