Solaris and Tandem ports of glibc

Dear glibc maintainers,

        I'm a Motorola employee who's been charged with the task of bringing
glibc2.2 to both the Solaris (SPARC) and Tandem (mips-generic-svr4)
platforms. I'm a UNIX programmer with a very good understanding of the
UNIX system calls. (I have experience programming embedded Linux with no
C library using "int 0x80"s.) Do you know where I would need to begin to
start porting glibc to these platforms?
