Romanian locale for Romania

Dear Sir,

In my Debian GNU/Linux distribution I have some problems with
the Romanian locales. In the file /usr/share/i18n/locales/ro_RO
it say that I should contact you in case of problems.

In my opinion, the error is comming from those lines:

LC_TIME 
abday   "<U0044>";"<U004C>";"<U004D><U0041>";"<U004D><U0049>";/
        "<U004A>";"<U0056>";"<U0053>"

which, I think gave this output of "cal" if LC_TIME is set to ro_RO:

computer:~> cal
      MAI 2001
DLMA MI JVS
       1  2  3  4  5
 6  7  8  9 10 11 12
13 14 15 16 17 18 19
20 21 22 23 24 25 26
27 28 29 30 31

Also I don't understand why the name of the month are writen with
capital letters (it should nout use capitals even for the first letter).

The output of ls -l is also giving me troubles, because some of the
months have four letters and some have three.

I am willing to help with this, but I don't know if you need my help.

I am looking forward for your answer.
