Hi,
I compiled glibc-2.2.4 with the linuxthreads addon on a redhat system. I
ran the make check and everything looked alright. After installing
however, most programs emit the following error when invoked:
Warning: locale not supported by C library, locale unchanged
or
Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library
The error does not seem to affect performance of the program. Will
recompiling the program or it's libraries (in the case of gtk/gdk, and
others) be enough to fix this issue? Or did I miss something when
building my glibc?
Thanks.
ps. If I type 'locale' at the shell prompt this is what I get:
geko:/lib> locale
