Trying to build POSE (PalmOS Emulator) on Solaris 8

Hey,

I am trying to build POSE on my Solaris 8/SPARC system.
I have used gcc 2.95.3 and new one (3.1?) and tried to compile
pose 3.3, 3.4 and 3.5 and they all produce "Internal Compiler Error" :))

So basically it always crashes at the part of the code that has
something like this:

::InPrvFindMemoryLeaks ()
::InPrvSystemTimerProc ()
::InPrvGetIntlMgrGlobalsP()
::InPrvSetIntlMgrGlobalsP()

you got the point.. 

So, I don't know what kind of functions are these but I suspect it's
glibc2 ??

So the main question is how to get around this problem. Can I install
glibc2 on
my system (will it even compile?) and why I don't have these functions
in my libc ? :)
