Xtensa port

Hi,

I'm volunteering to port GNU libc to the Xtensa architecture.  Has anyone else 
started this port?

I'm learning about copyright-assignment paperwork to FSF.  I didn't readily 
discover any guidelines to submit source code.  I'll monitor the mailing lists 
for hints and help.  I welcome any other pointers you can offer.
