Hi guys,
Stocks of the GNU Libc manuals are running low at the FSF
so it's time to print another batch. I've volunteered to
edit, update, and do what's necessary to them before printing.

I know this isn't a small task, the target deadline is
some time this summer. Before I get stuck in, I wanted
to run my plans by the list.

Questions/Thoughts:
Is this the right list for me? :)
Is anyone doing much work on the manual? (besides occasional bugfixes)
What release is expected to be current in August? (2.3.x?)

For binding reasons, the 1220 page book has to be split in two
befor printing. I'm going to try to make each book useful on
it's own, the titles may be "Standard" and "Network & Process".

If anyone has any issues they think are important, feel free
to mail me on or off list. Unless told otherwise, I'll keep this
list informed of my actions/progress.

Let me know what you think.
Ciaran O'Riordan
