glibc, suse 8.2, previuos suses and AVP antivirus

Hello,

some programs, which use new glibc (2.3.2) don't staing in a daemon mode 
as I like, but goodly work with 2.2.5
Is it problem of that programs? For example: kavdaemon - start (with 
full logs) and daemonize with glibc 2.2.5, and
goodly start with a same logs but not daemonize (glibc 2.3.2).

Sorry, if it's stupid question.
