hi!
for those of you interested, an experimental version of Glibc-based
Debian GNU/FreeBSD distribution is now available. see:
http://people.debian.org/~rmh/gnu-freebsd/
it has the following features:
- based on Bruno Haible's port of Glibc 2.3
- gcc 3.2.2, binutils from recent CVS
- APT repository with tons of packages, including Xfree86
- installable as a standalone OS by replacing an existing FreeBSD installation
needless to say, you're all welcome to try it. help is much needed for
getting the Glibc port integrated with latest Glibc and FreeBSD versions
(currently using Glibc 2.3 and FreeBSD 4.6 headers)
