was tring to compile glibc and get and error:

running configure fragment for sysdeps/i386/elf
running configure fragment for sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux
checking for egrep... (cached) grep -E
checking installed Linux kernel header files... 2.0.10 or later
*** On GNU/Linux systems it is normal to compile GNU libc with the
*** `linuxthreads' add-on. Without that, the library will be
*** incompatible with normal GNU/Linux systems.
*** If you really mean to not use this add-on, run configure again
*** using the extra parameter `--disable-sanity-checks'.

This is a new install of RH linux WS V2.1, would it not have Linux
Threads on it?? In any case I tried to down load and compile that and
makefiel doe snot work (not config etc). All I want is gdb/Insight to
work with threaded apps!!

Thanks,

Frank
