Subject: glibc loaded at fixed address in redhat9.0

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am using Redhat 9.0 and I have modified the TASK_UNMAPPED_BASE value to
increase memory area allocable with brk. I need this in order to run a
application that need to allocate a lot of memory (more than 2GB) nd use brk. I
have now noted that glibc get loaded at 1GB memory address and that does create
a failure of my application.
I am not able to modify the memory allocation strategy of the application. It
is a commercial software.

Can I change the starting address of glibc? How?

Thanks,
emanuele
