Netgroups that appear in /etc/hosts.equiv, at least in the part of the line
where a host name is normally expected, are shifted to lower case before they
are used in NIS queries. If the NIS server distinguishes case, failures
will result.
SUN, IBM and AIX NIS client machines do not have this problem, so I assume
this is something in glibc only.
We are using AIX for NIS servers if it matters.
