Compilation troubles |

Hello!
I encountered some troubles, while trying to compile glibc 2.3.2 on my
system. I downloaded it and "linuxthreads" from ftp://ftp.gnu.org
and unzipped in folder on my computer. I used configure options:
./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-add-ons=linuxthreads.
Also, I applied a patch, because I have gcc 3.3.2.
After 40-50 minutes of compilation, it failed with error
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status.
Before it there were very many strings like
../dl-object.c:39 undefined reference to 'strlen'
../dl-minimal.c:276 undefined reference to 'errno'
And so on.
Can you tell me, how to fix this?
Thanks.
