Hi.  This problem is still not fixed in glibc CVS.  You probably want
to submit your patch to the glibc bugzilla to get it in the queue of
locale problems in need of a fix.

have a look at my page document some of the things one need to
consider when trying to fix glibc locales,

I copy this email to Ionel Mugurel Ciobîcã who also once submitted an
improved version of the ro_RO locale.  His version is not in glibc CVS
either. :(
