No I mean OpenSSL vs. OpenSSL timings on 600 vs. 750 mhz versions of

  changed anytime recently.

The version I used might be outdated. It says "OpenSSL 0.9.4 09 Aug
1999". I grepped through the sources for an ftp address where to look
for updates, but didn't find anything.

Where can I find the latest version of openssl?

Btw, you might like looking at some of Dan Bernstein's papers on
  fast arithmetic, at http://cr.yp.to.

I have looked before. I find them hard to read.
