Build problem with GMP 4.1.2 on Solaris 8/X86

Hi,

I'm trying to build GMP 4.1.2 on Solaris 8/X86.  Went through the developers
list, the discussion list, the build pages and anything else I could find
on building gmp 4.1.2 on Solaris, but couldn't find anything that looked like
this.

Configure line was "./configure --prefix=/opt/csw"
GCC is gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release)
Uname -a is "SunOS mw 5.8 Generic_108529-18 i86pc i386 i86pc"


This is the error when it gets to the link phase:
