No good. I put 'GUILE_WARN_DEPRECATED="no"' in my .bash_profile, relogged in
and preformed a 'make clean' and a 'make distclean', redid the './configure
--with-included-argp' with the same result on 'make check'.
Fresh install of Fedora 7 on a Toshiba Satellite 1800.
I get the same problem with a fresh install on a desktop machine w/ an ASUS
motherboard and Intel dual CPUs.
I'm not sure that the warning from Guile would be the cause of the problem.
The issue here isn't just that the 'make check' is failing, but that it's
also failing after 'make install' because I'm unable to authenticate.
Would it help if I sent some log output from my machines error logs after I
went ahead and installed but couldn't get to run right?
The darn thing works without a hitch on Redhat 9 running kernel 2.4.35, but
won't work right on a freshly install Fedora 7 running kernel 2.6.22 (I
think). Could it be the kernel?
Anyone have any other ideas? Is this a bug in gnu radius?
Thanx!

Yes, that's the reason. The deprecation warning, albeit harmless, is not
expected by the testsuite, so it bails out. Try setting environment
variable GUILE_WARN_DEPRECATED to "no" and exporting it before running
tests.
