I think it'd be useful to have a document/documents explaining
generally what it takes to produce an entirely free Firefox build.

Sounds ok to me too. Savannah doesn't support wikis. Can you easily
set one up somewhere? (Or, Giuseppe, would you rather do it?)

Is the Iceweasel project going to maintain both a 1.5 version and a 2.0?
Since there's never been an official release of (GNU) IceWeasel, I'm not
sure it makes much sense to invest effort into 1.5 -- unless 2.0 appears
unstable for long enough, I suppose. Anyway, it all depends on what
kind of person-hours are available ...
