I have this situation.
In my home directory there is a script called ice_script.sh:
- --
#!/bin/sh
cd /home/arc/icecat-2.0.0.12-g1-i386/
./run-icecat.sh
- --
I deleted the icecat-2.0.0.12 directory, extract the new one into my
home dir and change the script like this:
- --
#!/bin/sh
cd /home/arc/icecat-2.0.0.13-g1-i386/
./run-icecat.sh
- --
Then I deleted the old 2.0.0.12 directory but GNU IceCat still displayed
in the Help menu -> About IceCat the old version (2.0.0.12).
Now I rebooted and everything seems ok but my system tries to recreate a
directory called "icecat-2.0.0.12-g1-i386" with a "update" subdirectory
inside.
What is happening? :)
