So my idea wasn't completely unfeasible :)
The costs are involved with the bureacracy of becoming a *validated* CA
in the root certs. There is nothing very technically difficult about it.
Now the question is: should we accept it as a valid CA in GNU IceCat?
Do we know anything about them, or any of the people involved? Do they
support free software? Looking at their web site, I don't see many
answers ...
It could be a good move, but I wouldn't do it lightly. For starters, we
should talk with them about it. And rms.
