Err... that depends on the point of view. From the point of view of
"mail" program, any deleted messages are actually expunged upon
receiving "quit" command (In contrast, "exit" does not delete them).
See mail/quit.c for more info.

>From the point of view of mailutils' internals, it is mailbox_expunge()
that does the job.
