I see. The bug report I'm talking about is
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=350754, reported
against 0.6.1. What you said above dismantles my theory though, so I
don't know if if was a bug fixed somewhere between 0.6.1 and 1.0.
