Hi, I'm using thunderbird as the email client for the imap4d server. If I delete all the messages in a folder and then select the "compact" option it works but the following errors appear in the log: imap4d[1698] Session terminating for user: root imap4d[1698] Got signal 'Broken pipe' imap4d[1698] No socket to send to imap4d[1302] process 1698 finished with code 74 (I/O error) However, if I delete the messages in the folder (e.g. sent), go to another folder e.g. Inbox), and then compact the orginal folder (e.g. sent) I do not get the errors. The compact operation actually works so this is more of an irritation rather than an error. Anything monitoring syslogs for errors will throw up false alarms because of this.
