Hi, Sergey,

I am _very_ confused about how to specify debugging levels.

I did as advised in the docs and did 'imap4d --config-help >imap4d.rc',
edited it, and got imap4d running with STARTTLS and CRAM-MD5,and I
/think/ pointing to the right directories.

But no matter what I've tried so far, my mail clients can't seem to
SELECT folders successfully from imap4d:

Jun 9 05:08:20 kaikala imap4d[15022]: Cannot change to home directory
`mbox:///home/chris/mail/mailboxes/': No such file or directory

Oh yes there is such file -- Dovecot finds it just fine!

So, I've spent a couple of hours trying to collect some meaningful
information, but to be honest, the stuff in the docs regarding debugging
is pretty hard for me to interpret. The BNF is great, but how do you
put it in the config file so that imap4d doesn't error out and refuse to
start?

And where is the output supposed to go? I started imap4d with
--debug-level=mailbox.trace1, but haven't seen anything in the logs that
wasn't there before I used that option.

Jun 9 05:37:37 kaikala imap4d[15248]: Cannot change to home directory
`mbox:///home/chris/ma\
il/mailboxes/': No such file or directory
Jun 9 05:37:37 kaikala imap4d[15248]: user `chris' logged in (source:
system)
Jun 9 05:37:37 kaikala imap4d[15248]:
mu_mailbox_create(mbox:///home/chris/mail/mailboxes/Trash) failed:
Requested item not found

All it tells me is that it can't find stuff that *is* there.

Confusedly continuing to use Dovecot,

Chris
