Hi,
The ncurses configure script currently unconditionally adds the
-no-cpp-precomp flag on Darwin. This flag is obsolete and no longer
has an effect; it also inhibits building on FSF GCC versions, which
don't recognize it, so it's best just to remove it at this point. With
some source diving, I found that it's been a no-op since roughly Xcode
1.1, ca. 2003, so I think the likelihood of any users needing it at
this point is low. ;) (Some more detail at a similar report on APR's
bug tracker: https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=48483)
I've attached a patch to remove the flag in the ncurses m4 files.
Best,
Misty De Meo
