odd - that's two issues.  For the first, I usually check that the git-snapshot
has the right number of files (i.e., that nothing got lost along the way).

The second one I see in the staging directory, but in selecting modified files,
for check-in, that escaped my notice.

I can see a couple of ways for improving my release script, to reduce errors in
these manual processes.  I'll do that and upload an update in the early morning
when that'll be a new date/timestamp/etc.
