Thanks for your report.
There is a bug that triggers when not having the 'show configuration' option
enabled in the GTK interface.

I fixed the issue, and a unified patch is available here.

Apply from the source directory of sourceinstall-gtk using:

patch < no_manual_conf.patch

However, I suggest you enable the 'show configuration' option in your GTK
front-end preferences. You can always just click OK if you just want the
defaults.
