Details:

The CLI gives:

address@hidden:~]$ sourceinstall -g konversation konversation
sourceinstall: warning [upgrade_package]: could not initialize build
sourceinstall: warning [upgrade_package]: could not install new package
version
sourceinstall: error [main]: action failed

or

address@hidden:~]$ sourceinstall -Qg konversation konversation
sourceinstall: error [parse_cmdline]: package already specified:
konversation

The GTK interface gives:

Could not initialize build
This error condition has been detected while initializing the build prior to
installation.

However, when I specify that the new package name should be something
different than the old package name, everything works as expected, in either
interface.
